Job summary

PADNOS is seeking a Large Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment including switch trucks, hydraulic cranes, mobile cranes, loaders, and trac-mobiles. The role supports daily yard operations by moving and preparing materials, with a valid driver’s license required.

The position runs 4:00pm - 2:30am, Monday to Friday with weekend work as needed. Candidates should be comfortable outdoors and capable of independent, self-motivated work while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks or railcars and move materials to designated areas.
• Maintain basic production, inventory, shipment, and equipment maintenance records as required.
• Identify and distinguish between different grades and types of materials.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing loads and assist with material grading when applicable.
• Assist with hand-sorting materials as needed to support yard operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Our Large Equipment Operator are responsible for safely operating various types of heavy equipment, including but not limited to switch trucks, hydraulic cranes, mobile cranes, loaders, and trac-mobiles. This role supports daily yard operations by moving, loading, and preparing materials as needed. The Equipment Operator is expected to actively demonstrate and support PADNOS company values while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Schedule

• 4:00pm - 2:30am
• Monday - Friday, Weekend as needed.
