PADNOS is seeking a Large Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment including cranes, excavators, loaders, and yard trucks. The role involves ensuring equipment appearance, maintenance, and conveying quality, environmental, or production concerns.

You will collaborate with departments, weigh packages, inspect loads, and assist customers with unloading while maximizing material value through proper grading and handling.

Qualifications

• Six months operating large equipment experience preferred.
• Equipment operation and preventative maintenance knowledge.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of basic mechanical principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other departments for efficient operations and top customer service.
• Prepare documents, weigh packages, and perform material inspections.
• Distinguish grades/types of scrap and understand customer specs to maximize value.
• Perform pre-inspection checks, monitor equipment, and report malfunctions.
• Assist customers in unloading materials.
• Grade, segregate, and upgrade materials to maximize value.
