Job summary

Bavarian Inn Restaurant in Frankenmuth, MI is seeking a Production Cook for large batch cooking to prepare homestyle favorites and signature sides in a high-volume kitchen.

This hands-on role requires reliability, following recipes, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with shifts such as 9AM–5PM, 11AM–7PM, and 1PM–9PM, and pay at $17/hour. Uniform required and team meals provided during shifts.

Qualifications

• Reliability: dependable attendance and punctuality for a high-volume kitchen.
• Consistency: follow recipes precisely to ensure uniform flavor and quality.
• Experience: prior cooking in a restaurant or commercial kitchen preferred.
• Independence & teamwork: work independently and with others as needed.
• Physical: able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Availability: able to work 3–5 days per week, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook large batches of signature side dishes per recipes.
• Manage production quantities to meet busy meal periods.
• Operate commercial cooking equipment in a high-volume kitchen.
• Lift and maneuver heavy pans up to 50 pounds following safety procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and sanitary per food safety rules.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth daily production.
