• Technician I requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience with horses or one year in a veterinary teaching hospital.
• Technician II requires a high school diploma or equivalent; four years of experience with horses or two years in a veterinary teaching hospital; and certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician.

Responsibilities

• Instruct veterinary students in technical skills and perform medical treatments as directed by veterinarians.
• Provide patient care in an academic teaching hospital facility.
• Support shift staff with procedures and equipment in a CARE full-time role.
• Assist with graduation-ready care and participate in ongoing training and CE.
