Laptop Repair Technician - Grapevine, TX 76051The Entry-Level Laptop Technician will be responsible for providing computer diagnostics and repairs.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Daily ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility of a computer technician is to diagnose and repair laptops.Perform tasks such as installation, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of computers.Manually examine and repair computer hardware and peripheral components.Troubleshoot computer systems both hardware and softwareTake apart and re-assemble computer components and parts.Analyze failed equipment according to established methods or procedures and determine whether the equipment is repairableResolve hardware technical issues within time schedule and provide the break and fix solution using an in-house systemMay manually set up computer systems and hardware, and install or re-install software programs for computer users.Handled complex and escalated repairs.Will work on “aged\" and “dog” units.Perform other duties as assigned.Warehouse EfficienciesBuilds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communications at all levels.Keeps warehouse organized and clean at all times.Team Building/LeadershipResponsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company’s culture.Responsible for fostering a healthy and safe work environment, focusing on the well-being of all associates.Essential Skills:The job requires the ability to clearly organize and categorize work priorities to complete your work.Critical analysis and complex problem solvingRequires demonstrated ability to read and follow written instructions and ideas.Job requires the repeated and coordinated use of your hands, wrists, and fingers to use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools.Must be hands-on and have the ambition and drive to succeed - “Makes things happen”.Must be goal-oriented and accustomed to achieving results through teamwork.Needs the ability to reach daily Units p/Hour metrics - Minimum KPI Standards of 1.50 or above (able to meet within 90 days of employment).Education and/or Experience;Should have solid 1 or more years of repair experienceExperience with proper teardown & reassembly of laptops and netbooksHardware diagnosis and repairMulti-part repair and replacementExperience in a production-based environmentStrong Operating Systems troubleshooting knowledge and software loadsWorking knowledge in repairing all OEM’sHardware failure diagnosis & repairWork Location: Grapevine, TX 76051
