Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation is seeking a Server Repair Tech in Grapevine, TX to test, diagnose, and replace faulty server parts. You will document symptoms and results, collaborate with MQ testing and QC, and support parts management in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and hands-on experience with various server brands, basic networking, and problem-solving mindset. Training and continuous learning are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year experience in Repair Depot.
• Reading and writing English required.
• Experience with simple component replacements like LCD/HDD.
• Familiar with common server brands (ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, Acer).
• Basic computer skills including MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and diagnose servers.
• Replace parts as needed.
• Conduct and analyze server stress tests.
• Document symptoms, test results, and parts replaced.
• Collaborate with motherboard repair, testing, QC, and inspections personnel.
• Provide back-up for QC, inspection, and motherboard testing.
• Maintain parts consumption.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Employee must be able to lift objects approximately up to 25 lbs. Must be able to tolerate moderate to high noise levels in a warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in the warehouse, hot in the summer, cold in the winter.
