Job summary

Repowered in Minnesota is seeking a hands-on Computer Technician to test, refurbish and prepare laptops and electronics for retail and wholesale customers. You will work within a small team under a Lead Technician to meet daily goals.

The role emphasizes hands-on repair experience, attention to detail, and willingness to collaborate across departments; training may be provided for Work Readiness participants in the program. This position is full-time, on-site in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting/repairing laptops required.
• Able to learn repair items and perform quality repairs.
• Willing to assist in other areas as needed.
• NAID Access eligibility and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Test and refurbish laptops and electronics to proper specifications.
• Maintain workflow to meet daily goals.
• Sort and organize incoming laptops for refurbishing.
• Communicate needs to department lead clearly.
• Identify reusable parts and route to resale.
• Keep area tidy and tools accessible.
• Input laptop descriptions into inventory with proper labeling.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
