Lanier Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor to teach at multiple campus locations. The role is part-time, non-benefits eligible, and paid per contact hour.

You will deliver instruction per approved syllabi, develop curriculum, and evaluate student progress while maintaining records and meeting deadlines. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Mathematics or equivalent, the ability to teach diverse adult learners, and proficiency with LMS/student information systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics from a regionally accredited college/university.
• Must work well with diverse students in classroom and supervision settings.
• Strong classroom and interpersonal skills for adult learners.
• Experience with lesson planning, grading, and using student information systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach as assigned based on approved course syllabus.
• Prepare curriculum and syllabus for coursework taught.
• Evaluate student progress toward goals and objectives.
• Administer and grade class examinations.
• Maintain records of student grades and attendance.
• Attend in-service training, workshops and seminars as needed.
• Ensure safety and security in training areas; meet deadlines by supervisor.
• Meet with students, staff, and supervisors as needed.
