Ponca City Development Authority is seeking a part-time Kaw Language Assistant/Support Staff in Newkirk, OK. The role supports Language Teachers/Director, helps prepare classrooms, drives students to classes, and handles snacks and light office tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma/GED and office experience.
• Must have the ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students, and community members.
• Must be able to interact with various age groups as a teacher assistant to maintain classroom order and efficiency.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug test and maintain status; must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain the Language wing in Newkirk, OK.
• Assist Language Teachers/Director in all classes.
• Drive students to and from class.
• Prepare classrooms for classes.
• Be responsible for snacks/meals for all classes including shopping, cooking, and cleanup.
• Help with office and computer work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
