Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington's Center for Language Technology (CeLT) seeks a reliable, detail-oriented student assistant to support technology-enhanced teaching, learning, research, and outreach initiatives in Bloomington. The role blends lab support with educational technology projects and data organization.

Responsibilities include equipment checkout, demonstrations, basic tech support for CeLT classrooms, multimedia editing with Adobe Creative Cloud, event support, and data visualization

Responsibilities

• Staffs the Equipment Checkout Room, receives and responds to requests, and checks equipment in and out to patrons.
• Provides basic demonstrations to patrons, training on CeLT equipment.
• Provides basic technical support for users of the CeLT distance learning classrooms.
• Cleans and sanitizes the spaces managed by CeLT, as needed.
• Completes basic multimedia editing with Adobe Creative Cloud and other tools.
• Supports center events, including logistics, planning, and creating publicity materials.
• Assists with video recording of CeLT events on campus as needed.
• Assists with collecting, organizing, and visualizing data for reports and program assessment.
• Support accessibility initiatives by reviewing digital content for accessibility compliance and usability.
• Other duties as assigned.
