As described, the Language Development Program Coordinator will support language development programs, coordinate with various stakeholders, and manage administrative tasks in Hawaii, with a focus on training, scheduling, and documentation to advance cryptologic language initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph is required.
  • Associates of Arts Degree from any accredited college or university.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in a professional or academic environment.
  • Five (5) years of experience working in customer service and data/information management, as part of a team.
  • In lieu of the associate’s degree, an additional two (2) years of directly related, applied, practical work experience for a total of seven (7) may be substituted.
  • Two (2) years of experience drafting and following standard operating procedures and checklists and communicating with colleagues and customers via written correspondence.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, assemble, and track routine correspondence and records.
  • Print reports and other documents in final form using word processing software or other automated programs.
  • Document completion of program criteria and manage email aliases for participants.
  • Prepare graduation certificates and assist with graduation ceremonies.
  • Create and update records/reports for language professional development activities.
  • Support program managers by coordinating with other organizations regarding language programs.
  • Coordinate travel requirements to assist in travel spend plans.
  • Assist in planning and scheduling open forum sessions, meetings and workshops with program members.
  • Prepare PowerPoint and other materials for program manager briefings and presentations.
  • Maintain lists and aliases of language studies contacts, and update as required.
  • Provide administrative support for workshops related to planning cryptologic language training.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate external vendor training and Isolated Immersion language training requirements.
  • Assist with ISOLATED Immersions logistics and Area Studies course arrangements.

The Language Development Program Coordinator shall provide services for Language Development programs and training.
