Job summary

The Spokane Tribe of Indians in Wellpinit, WA seeks a Data Website Technician to support the Language/Culture Program by building and maintaining the Spokane language websites, uploading teaching materials, and preserving multimedia assets.

You will work with Elders and community members to ensure accessibility, coordinate media, and manage digital archives, with a pay rate of $19.65–$25.00 per hour and a regular full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong computer literacy and web design experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 for documents and collaboration.
• Ability to work respectfully with Elders and community members.
• Must be able to pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong computer literacy with web design, CMS, and digital workflows.
• Design and maintain program websites with accessibility and usability.
• Upload and organize teaching materials with metadata and navigation structure.
• Produce and edit images and audio using industry tools.
• Prepare media for web publication with proper formats and tagging.
