Job summary

NSA seeks linguists to analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and military leaders. You will engage with partners across the Intelligence Community and may enter the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or be hired directly into analytic roles supporting mission offices.

LADP offers up to three years of intensive training with multiple operational tours to build SIGINT analytic skills in language materials and related disciplines.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening is required.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or language analysis is preferred.
• Strong analytical and cross-cultural understanding is expected.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers and military leaders.
• Research other cultures and their geopolitical context.
• Develop creative solutions to analytic problems with large data sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique insights for NSA.
• Collaborate with NSA and IC analysts on research and reporting.
