Job summary

NSA seeks linguists to support MDLA roles within the SIGINT mission, offering opportunities through LADP or direct hire. You will analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language material to inform policymakers and operators across the IC.

The program spans up to three years with rotations and formal training to build advanced language and analytic skills, emphasizing proficiency and complex data synthesis. Applicants must meet ILR 2/2 and related experience.

Qualifications

• ILR 2/2 proficiency in reading and listening for the target language.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or analysis relevant to NSA SIGINT.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field with related experience.

Responsibilities

• Offer policymakers and leaders clear language insights through translation and analysis.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to inform decisions.
• Apply new techniques to synthesize large data from disparate sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and tech trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments with unique analytic insights.
• Work independently and with the IC in research and reporting.
