Job summary

CNSS • National Security Systems seeks linguists (MDLAs) for the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire across NSA SIGINT missions. You will engage with partners across the Intelligence Community, analyzing, transcribing, and translating key information.

LADP lasts up to three years with operational tours and training. Applicants should note languages you are proficient in; LADP does not teach foreign language.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR reading/listening level 2/2 in target language.
• At least 1 year of relevant language or non-language work in related fields (analysis, intelligence, cybersecurity, etc).
• ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL: high school +4 years, associate +2, or bachelor +0+; FULL PERFORMANCE: higher experience; SENIOR: +years requirements.

Responsibilities

• Offer policymakers and leaders insights by analyzing, transcribing, and translating key information.
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts to inform analytic work.
• Develop creative solutions to synthesize large data sets from multiple sources.
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends.
• Craft written and oral assessments providing unique insights for NSA missions.
• Collaborate with NSA and IC analysts in research, analysis, and reporting.
