Job summary

National Security Agency seeks multilingual Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions. The LADP offers intensive training with multiple operational tours, while direct hire paths are also available for analytic roles across offices.

Applicants must have ILR 2/2 in reading and listening for target languages and at least one year of relevant experience in language or related fields such as intelligence, cybersecurity, or STEM. Possession of a security background is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency ILR 2/2 reading and listening in target language.
• 1+ year relevant language work (translation, transcription, etc.) or related field work in intelligence, security studies, or STEM.
• Entry/Developmental path:04 years experience with HS diploma, or 2 years with Associate, or Bachelor's with no experience.
• Senior path requires higher years of experience and may include leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT purpose.
• Conduct research to understand cultures and geopolitical contexts relevant to NSA missions.
• Synthesize information from multiple sources to inform analytic reports and assessments.
• Mentor, lead, or collaborate with other Language Analysts and internal teams.
