Job summary

NSA is seeking Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT mission objectives. Roles may begin in the LADP or direct hire into analytic offices, with rotations across multiple offices and formal training.

Qualified candidates have ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening, plus relevant language or analytic experience. A broad range of educational backgrounds is acceptable, from high school to advanced degrees.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• At least 1 year of relevant language or non-language experience in intelligence-related fields.
• Entry/Developmental: HS diploma +4 yrs or Associate +2 yrs or Bachelor’s +0 yrs.
• Full Performance: HS +7 yrs or Bachelor +3 yrs or Master +1 yr.
• Senior: HS +10 yrs or Bachelor +6 yrs or Master +4 yrs with relevant language experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT missions.
• Engage with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community to support analytic outcomes.
• Participate in Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic roles.
• Demonstrate leadership potential and mentor other analysts where appropriate.
