Job summary

The Lane Systems Lead at North Texas Tollway Authority drives ITS and tolling initiatives by providing technical leadership, coordinating projects, and guiding technicians. You will oversee system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting, while ensuring safety and process compliance across IT-Roadway standards.

This role partners with vendors and internal departments to resolve lane and ITS issues, delivers training, and reports project risks and recommendations to management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant technical experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to operate bucket truck and work at heights up to 100 feet.
• Ability to load, unload, and move equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to pull trailers as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support technicians on daily tasks, projects, and emergency responses.
• Monitor technician performance and document progress.
• Review field installations and maintenance activities for quality and compliance.
• Oversee software updates, equipment upgrades, and system maintenance.
• Develop and deliver technical training presentations.
• Research, evaluate, and assist with implementing new technologies and equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve lane and ITS issues.
• Provide project updates, including risks, issues, and recommendations to management.
• Ensure compliance with established IT-Roadway processes, procedures, and safety standards.
