Job summary

Opus Inspection in Oak Creek, WI is hiring a Lane Inspector to perform vehicle emissions tests and guide motorists through the inspection process. You will enter and verify vehicle data, collect inspection fees, and help maintain smooth operations at the station.

No prior experience is required—we provide training. This full-time position offers a 40-hour week with Tuesday through Saturday shifts (10 am–6 pm) at a starting pay of $16.00 per hour, with safety procedures and teamwork emphasized.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lane Inspector -- Vehicle Emissions testing. Play an important role in limiting the production of Emissions by identifying the polluting vehicles. As a lane inspector YOU will be responsible for the following:

• Perform emission inspection functions following established procedures, enter and verify vehicle information with computer data.
• Process registration renewals
• Direct motorists in and out of the station, provide test results, instruct customers on next steps in the inspections process, collect inspection fees.
• Other job duties as assigned.

NO Experience required; We will train you!

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel and balance for extended periods of time

• Must be 18 years of age

Physically able to lift, push, pull up to 20 lbs on an occasional basis.
