Job summary

Pelican Bay Community is seeking a Landscaping Maintenance Worker to perform grounds and facilities maintenance using mowers, Kubota UTVs, weed eaters, blowers and irrigation tools.

Typical schedule includes 7:30 AM–5:30 PM Mon–Thu (40 hours) with overtime on Fridays, plus a Friday overtime block. Must possess a Florida driver’s license, pass background and drug screenings, and read/write/speak English.

Qualifications

• Must have valid State of Florida Driver's License.
• Background and drug screenings required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, UTVs, weed eaters and blowers.
• Perform general repair and grounds maintenance for Pelican Bay Community facilities.
• Assist skilled-trade staff and other workers as needed.

Job description

Landscaping Maintenance Worker

Monday to Thursday 7:30 AM -5:30 PM (10 hour days for a total of 40 Hours) and Friday's from 7AM-3:30PM (8 Hours of Overtime weekly) for a total of 48 hours weekly. Paid weekly on Friday's $16.50 to $17:00 Hour
$858 weekly pay with pay and overtime.

Must have valid State of Florida Drivers License. Must complete Background and Drug Screenings. Must be able to read , write and speak in English.

Performs manual work involving and operating large mowers, kubota UTVs, weed eaters, blowers, and irrigation work within Pelican Bay Community. Assists skilled-trade employees or other workers as needed.

Landscaping Maintenance Worker : Performs general repair and maintenance work on County buildings, equipment, grounds, and related facilities within an assigned County division; performs semi-skilled and manual work involving grounds maintenance, parks/recreational facility maintenance, aquatic facility maintenance, aquatic control, lake/beach maintenance, road/bridge maintenance, roadside maintenance, traffic operations, road sign installation, water utilities maintenance, building maintenance, plumbing maintenance, custodial maintenance, or other projects within the assigned division; assists skilled-trade employees or other workers as needed. #FTM
