Level Green Landscaping is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Operations Manager to lead daily landscape maintenance operations, manage scheduling, enforce safety, and inspire the team to exceed client expectations across service areas. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration, and delivering outstanding service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial landscaping and 3+ years in management, a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance
• 3+ years in a grounds/commercial landscaping management position
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Aspire software
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Overseeing multiple landscape maintenance crews—scheduling labor, ordering materials, coordinating equipment, and managing subcontractors
• Collaborating with the Branch Manager in recruiting, hiring, and developing a talented crew
• Providing hands-on training and leadership to crew leaders and crew members
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company protocols
• Performing regular site inspections, monitoring irrigation systems, plants, and turf health, and addressing issues proactively
• Maintaining clear communication with account managers, vendors, and the team to deliver outstanding service
• Demonstrating teamwork capabilities by working in tandem with account managers to meet clients' property needs

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 21 years old and willing to work Saturdays and in various weather conditions
• A valid U.S. driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn company software such as Aspire
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial landscaping or grounds maintenance and three (3) years in a grounds/commercial landscaping management position
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus but not required
• A passion for quality work and customer satisfaction
• Proficiency with native plants and horticultural knowledge
