Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Landscaping Estimator and Technician to join our growing team, with a key responsibility for providing on-site assessments and accurate quotes for lawn care maintenance and landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of landscaping practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to evaluate property needs to develop tailored service plans.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform on-site evaluations of residential and commercial properties to assess lawn and landscape projects.
2. Consult with leads to understand their lawn care and landscaping goals and preferences.
3. Recommend suitable lawn care services and landscaping solutions based on site conditions and client needs.
4. Prepare and deliver detailed service quotes, including labor, materials, and scheduling estimates.
5. Assist with regular lawn maintenance and landscaping tasks.
6. Maintain accurate records of assessments, quotes, and client interactions.
7. Generate and send quotes within hours of assessment.
8. Follow up on quotes in a timely manner.
9. Earn a bonus if the goal's close rate is achieved.
10. Ensure client satisfaction with follow-up post-project completion.
11. Collaborate with the field operations team to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Frequent travel to client sites within the service area.
• Occasional weekend or evening availability as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or a related field.
• Proven ability to assess lawn and landscaping needs and prepare accurate estimates.
• Strong knowledge of turf care, plant health, irrigation, and landscape design principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for estimating and record-keeping.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using CRM software, Excel, and/or estimating tools.
• Certifications in horticulture, pesticide application, or landscape design are a plus.

Compensation:

$23 - $26 hourly plus bonus
