Role and Responsibilities

The Landscaping Crew Member will assist with daily landscaping tasks on the base, ensuring safety and efficiency under supervision.

• Perform equipment checks and maintenance daily.
• Landscaping Tasks:
• Trim hedges, remove weeds, maintain beds.
• Mow, rake, edge, prune plants.
• Spray lawns, shrubs, trees.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees, shrubs.
• Water lawns and plants.
• Clean drainage ditches and culverts.
• Operate machinery safely, including tractors with attachments.
• Wear safety gear and report unsafe areas.
• Work with the Crew Leader to meet standards.

Qualifications

• No experience required.

Preferred Skills

• At least 1 year of landscaping experience preferred.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Lift and move heavy objects regularly.
• Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Exposure to noise, dust, dirt, and potentially hazardous materials.
• Wear PPE and follow safety guidelines.
