This is not a landscape maintenance position. We are specifically seeking an experienced landscape construction professional who can lead crews and oversee the installation of pavers, hardscapes, retaining walls, drainage systems, grading, excavation, irrigation, and other high-end residential landscape construction projects.
Not only will you earn $30.00 - $40.00/hour (based on experience), but we'll also provide you with tools, uniforms, and a company phone, along with excellent benefits including paid drive time between job sites, paid time off (PTO), a SIMPLE IRA with company match, safety toe boots (one pair per year), and opportunities for professional growth.
Your Day-to-day
As our Landscape Construction Manager, you'll coordinate with ownership, designers, estimators, and project managers to keep residential landscape construction projects on track and ensure every team member is working toward a common goal. You'll lead and support a landscape construction crew, overseeing the installation of custom outdoor living spaces and ensuring all work meets our quality standards and exceeds homeowner expectations.
Our projects include paver patios and walkways, retaining walls, drainage solutions, irrigation systems, grading, excavation, landscape installations, and complete outdoor renovations. You'll communicate daily production goals, support efficient project completion, and step in wherever needed to keep projects moving forward.
Attention to detail is critical in this role. You'll review plans, layouts, elevations, and project scopes, track labor hours and materials, coordinate equipment and resources, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. Your leadership and construction expertise will play a key role in delivering exceptional results for our clients.
Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of landscape construction experience
• 2+ years of experience in a foreman, lead installer, or crew leadership position
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills
• Ability to accurately read and follow plans, measurements, layouts, elevations, and construction details
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with paver installation, hardscape construction, retaining walls, drainage systems, irrigation systems, grading, excavation, concrete forming, outdoor lighting, and planting
• High-end residential landscape construction experience
• Compact equipment operation experience (loaders, trenchers, mini excavators, skid steers, etc.)
• Experience coordinating with designers, homeowners, subcontractors, and project managers
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Familiarity with the Bay Area's construction suppliers, materials, and local job site challenges
