Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Landscaper to maintain the resort grounds on Captiva Island, Florida. The role focuses on lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces to create a pristine guest experience.

Responsibilities include operating landscaping equipment, edging, debris removal, and seasonal planting. A valid driver's license and at least 1 year of equipment experience are required; the position offers a 40-hour workweek with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating landscaping equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license; motor vehicle background check will be completed.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and plant beds across the property.
  • Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, etc.).
  • Trim and edge sidewalks, walkways, and curbs.
  • Remove debris, fallen branches, and litter from grounds.
  • Assist with planting seasonal flowers and tropical foliage.
  • Monitor irrigation systems and report issues.
  • Support storm preparation and post-storm clean‑up.
  • Apply fertilizers and treatments per company guidelines.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Position Overview

The Landscaper is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the resort's landscaping, lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for guests, owners, and team members. This role supports the overall aesthetic and safety standards of the property while preserving the natural beauty of our island setting.

Essential Responsibilities

RATE OF PAY

$21.00 per hour

Position Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience operating landscaping equipment

Required: Must have a valid driver's license, motor vehicle background check will be completed

HOURS REQUIRED 40 Hours Per Week

Mon - Fri 6:45 am - 3:15 pm, possible work requirements on some weekends and/or holidays.
