Qualifications

  • Background in hotel/resort maintenance preferred.
  • 2 years experience in facilities or maintenance.
  • Licensed in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or carpentry preferred.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing skilled and semi-skilled work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, security and structural systems and elements of resort buildings and facilities.

Education and Experience

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma/GED, supplemented by technical or college course work training in a trade.

  • Background with working at a hotel/resort or related is preferred
  • 2 years of journey-level work in facilities, plant construction, plant operations, or maintenance and repair; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
What are we looking for?

Required: Must have a valid driver’s license, motor vehicle background check will be completed.

  • Fluent in English; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Physical/Mental Requirements

Engineers work in fast paced environments. This job may require you to stand for long hours. Work is subject to exposure to extreme weather conditions, hazardous chemicals, electrical currents, gases, dust, and noxious odors.

Hours and Equal Opportunity

Compensation
