Job summary

South Seas, a Pyramid Global Hospitality resort on Captiva Island, is seeking a Landscaper to maintain the resort’s grounds, lawns, trees, shrubs, and plant beds to create a pristine environment for guests, owners, and team members.

You will operate mowers and related equipment, assist with planting seasonal flora, monitor irrigation, support storm preparation, and follow safety procedures. Hours are 40 per week, Monday–Friday 6:45 am–3:15 pm, with possible weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience operating landscaping equipment.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, and plant beds across the property.
  • Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge cutters, etc.).
  • Trim and edge sidewalks, walkways, and curbs; remove debris and litter.
  • Assist with planting seasonal flowers and tropical foliage.
  • Monitor irrigation systems and report issues; support storm prep and post-storm cleanup.
