Job summary

Thrive PropertyMx is seeking a dedicated Landscaper to own the grounds across our five Milwaukee properties. You’ll mow, edge, weed, and keep beds neat while supporting move-out turnover tasks as needed.

This full-time, field-based role runs weekday hours (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) with seasonal snow coverage. You’ll travel between properties, report to Brittany (Property Services Manager), and back up the Cleaning Technician as required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle (required)
• Personal cell phone for daily coordination (required)
• Hands-on landscaping or grounds-keeping experience preferred
• Comfortable with physical outdoor work in all seasons, including snow removal
• Reliable and on time, every day — backup system relies on it
• Willing to cover cleaning tasks when needed to assist your teammate
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong plus: property management or multifamily grounds maintenance experience, or landscaping equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day appearance of the grounds at all five properties.

• Walk each property regularly to pick up trash and debris.
• Handle snow and ice removal from walkways, entrances, and common areas in winter.
• Flag larger grounds or exterior issues (irrigation, fencing, trees) to Brittany.
• Assist with move-out cleanouts — removing abandoned furniture and bulk items.
• Change locks and rekey units as part of turnover process.
• Support move-out and turn timelines when Cleaning Technician needs help.
• Backup coverage: step in on cleaning tasks when teammate is out, including stove/fridge cleans

About the Role

We're hiring a Landscaper to take ownership of the grounds across our Milwaukee properties. This is primarily a grounds and landscaping role, with a smaller share of your time supporting our Cleaning Technician on move-out turnover tasks - and backing them up entirely when they're out.

This is a full-time, field-based position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with seasonal adjustments for snow removal coverage. You'll be moving between all five of our Milwaukee properties regularly, working closely with our Cleaning Technician counterpart, and reporting directly to Brittany, our Property Services Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Own the day-to-day appearance of the grounds at all five properties - this is your territory
• Mow, edge, and maintain lawns on a consistent schedule
• Pull weeds and keep landscaped beds clean and maintained
• Walk each property regularly to pick up trash and debris before it accumulates
• Handle snow and ice removal from walkways, entrances, and common areas during winter months, working alongside the rest of the snow crew - this isn't a solo job
• Flag any larger grounds or exterior issues (irrigation, fencing, trees) to Brittany
• Assist with move-out cleanouts - removing abandoned furniture and bulk items left behind
• Change locks and rekey units as part of the turnover process
• Support move-out and turn timelines when the Cleaning Technician needs an extra set of hands
• Backup coverage: you and our Cleaning Technician cover for each other. If they're out sick or running behind, we'll need you to step in on cleaning tasks - including stove and fridge cleans - so things don't fall behind. It's part of how the two roles support each other.

• Authorized to work in the United States
• A strong plus: experience in property management or multifamily grounds maintenance, or experience operating landscaping equipment

Pay

• $16/hour to start
• $18/hour automatically after your first 90 days
• Monthly gas stipend for travel between properties
