Monarch Co is hiring a Landscaper for full-time, year-round work in Grand Rapids, MI. The role pays $20.00 per hour with overtime potential and a comprehensive benefits package. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 26-state presence noted in the ad.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional landscaping experience.
• Snow plowing experience strongly preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Basic landscape, lawn care and grounds maintenance across properties.
• Assist in Make Ready / Turning Units between tenants.
• During snow season, clear driveways and parking areas and apply deicing materials; on-call 24/7 during snow events.
• Maintain multiple communities' landscaping under supervisor.

** RESPONSIBILITIES **

• General labor working on projects of various sizes and complexity, performing various landscape, lawn care, lawn maintenance and grounds care functions
• May assist in Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenant occupancy
• During snow removal season responsibilities may include clearing driveways & parking lots withboth plow and/or snow blower, as well as applying deicing/salting materials to walkways/parking
• During snow removal season you must be willing to work all hours of the day while on call 24/7
• Maintaining multiple apartment communities full landscaping duties under the guidance of a supervisor

** REQUIREMENTS **

• 2+ years’ experience in professional landscaping
• Snow plowing experience strongly preferred

• Ability to help with on call for snow removal duties
