Job summary

Adelante is seeking a Landscaper to maintain and improve grounds across Albuquerque and Valencia County. Responsibilities include mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, weed removal, and irrigation system upkeep, with occasional snow removal during winter.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, post-high school landscaping training, and at least 2 years of related experience. Candidates must be able to commute to nearby towns; a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Post-high school landscaping training is preferred.
• At least 2 years of landscaping, groundskeeping, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment and power tools.
• Must be able to commute to Belen / Los Lunas; company vehicle provided.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and maintaining lawns, trees, shrubs, and flower beds.
• Removing weeds, leaves, grass clippings, and debris to keep grounds clean and attractive.
• Maintaining and repairing irrigation systems, including drip lines and sprinkler heads.
• Performing minor maintenance and repairs on landscaping equipment and tools.
• Keeping outdoor areas clean and safe year-round, including snow removal and applying ice melt when needed.
