SMITH TURF & IRRIGATION LLC is seeking a Customer Service Representative (counter sales) to assist walk-in and call-in customers with equipment, irrigation, and landscape products. You will guide shoppers through the entire sales process, maintain product knowledge, and ensure accurate data entry while supporting showroom operations.

The role emphasizes prompt, professional customer interactions, teamwork, and maintaining a well-organized branch showroom.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of retail or counter sales experience.
• Strong phone and face-to-face customer service skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and research parts or products online.
• Accurate data entry skills and experience using inventory management systems.
• Capable of routinely lifting or moving inventory weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide product knowledge to customers on Landscape and Turf Care Equipment lines by maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.
• Ensure every customer interaction is marked by promptness, professionalism, and precision.
• Answer customer queries regarding our products, including equipment and landscape applications.
• Handle sales processes from order entry to inventory management and deliveries.
• Establish and nurture communication with internal teams for timely product delivery.
• Collaborate with external sales reps to grow LPG and TCE sectors.
• Keep the showroom and yard tidy, organized, and welcoming.
