The Davey Tree Expert Company in Youngstown, OH, is seeking a Landscape Trainee to support planned landscaping operations. Your office is outdoors, and you will learn to manage plantings, mowing, mulching, and diagnostic tasks while working with senior staff.

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture, or Landscaping preferred.
• Broad knowledge of turf, weeds, and tree/shrub ID and physiology preferred.
• Ability to complete Davey Landscape career development books upon hire.
• Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement preferred.
• Pesticide licenses/certificates as required by state law.
