Job summary

T.R. Gear Landscaping seeks a Crew Member to perform lawn maintenance, mulching, planting and related tasks across properties. Responsibilities include safely operating equipment, applying weed control and chemical products, and following job plans with supervision.

Responsibilities also cover loading/unloading gear, maintaining clean work sites, and ensuring timely project completion while adhering to safety policies. Drug screening and background checks may be required by the employer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in landscape installation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Holds a State Technician and/or Applicator license per local requirement.

Responsibilities

• Running equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.).
• Spraying weed control and other chemical applications requiring licensure.
• Stores, transports, and applies chemicals in accordance with the law.
• Follow installation instructions and plans with Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Assist in loading and unloading equipment, tools, and supplies on truck.
• Maintain equipment and clean/store daily.
• Work safely and efficiently with tools and equipment per safety policy.
• Help keep job site, vehicles, trailers, warehouses and offices safe and organized.
• Inform supervisor of problems on site, equipment or supply issues.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and safety requirements.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.
• Participate in required training programs.
