Job summary

Maxalea in Baltimore, MD is seeking dependable Landscape Maintenance Technicians to maintain residential and commercial properties. This hands-on role offers on-the-job training and a chance to learn lawn care, planting, and seasonal cleanup as part of a motivated crew.

You will mow, edge, prune, and perform general property maintenance outdoors, with safety procedures and PPE in place. Prior landscaping experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• No landscaping experience required — training provided!
• Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, or outdoor labor experience is a plus
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Able to follow instructions and work well with others
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Maxalea is hiring dependable, hardworking Landscape Maintenance Technicians to help maintain residential and commercial properties throughout the Baltimore area.

In this hands-on role, you'll work alongside an experienced crew performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, planting, and seasonal cleanup. Whether you have landscaping experience or are looking to get started in the industry, we provide training to help you develop your skills.

What You'll Do

Mow, edge, and trim lawns using commercial landscaping equipment

Perform planting, mulching, weeding, watering, and soil preparation

Assist with pruning shrubs, small trees, and plants

Complete seasonal cleanups, leaf removal, and general property maintenance

Operate landscaping tools such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools

Schedule & Physical Requirements

Full-time, hourly position

Must be available for early start times, overtime, or weekend shifts as needed

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain

Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., with heavier lifting team-assisted or reasonably accommodated

Comfortable working on uneven terrain and safely operating landscaping equipment

Required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
