Job summary

Carmel Landscapes is seeking self-motivated Landscape Technicians to join our team in Kentucky. This skilled laborer role works with a foreman to perform landscape installations and ornamental plant maintenance, not lawn care, reflecting our commitment to craftsmanship and sustainable outdoor spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience with mulch, plant and ornamental bed installations.
• Knowledge of proper planting and pruning techniques.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with safe handling and application of horticultural chemicals.
• Certification from the National Association of Landscape Professionals or equivalent organizations.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mulch, plant, and ornamental bed installations with an eye for timeless, tailored designs.
• Pruning and plant care, following ANSI A300 industry's best practices.
• Material logistics, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Safe handling and application of horticultural chemicals as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe outdoor work environment in various weather conditions.
• Work independently and collaboratively to foster a positive team culture.
• Perform tasks safely and efficiently, strictly following Carmel Landscapes' policies under supervision.

Carmel Landscapes is currently searching for self-motivated, high-caliber professional Landscape Technicians who take pride in their work, values teamwork and have an eye for remarkable craftsmanship! This is a skilled laborer position that will work closely with a foreman and management to perform landscape installations and ornamental plant maintenance, this is not a lawn care position. We're stewards of the land, creating practical, high-performing outdoor spaces.

Schedule

• Full-time
• 1st shift (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) (floating winter shift)
• Overtime available
