The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Landscape Technician to maintain grounds at various properties. The office is outdoors, and you will work on-site in Hicksville, NY.

Responsibilities include performing landscaping tasks, operating and maintaining equipment, and communicating with management and clients to address landscape needs. Valid DOT medical card and landscaping experience are required, with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Position Overview

Executes landscaping operations and maintains grounds and landscape of private, governmentalorbusiness residences by performing the following duties.

Job Duties

What You’ll Do:

• Cultivate your green career with us!
• Properly string trim, mowing, weeding, driving DOT regulated vehicles like trucks & trailers, and so much more.
• Maintain open communication with management and clients to provide progress and feedback on landscape needs.
• Drive, use, maintain and properly operate equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Report to the supervisor regularly.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Love of the outdoors
• Required: must have valid DOT med card
• Required: Previous Landscaping experience
• Ability to complete the Davey Landscape career development books upon hire
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
