Job summary

Sperber Landscape Companies in Salinas, CA, seeks a Project Manager to oversee landscape improvement operations in a designated district. You will use estimating software to achieve budgeted sales and project profit, while coordinating and managing at least two crews.

Responsibilities include supervising the Superintendent, Foreman and Laborers, and coordinating with Landscape Maintenance and Regional Sales Managers to promote new work.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication with customers, employees and managers.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience leading field teams and coordinating contractors and crews.
• Understanding of project budgets, costs and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and supervise the Superintendent, Foreman and Laborers within a region.
• Coordinate promotion and solicitation of new work with Landscape Maintenance Managers and Regional Sales Managers.
• Train and develop field personnel in processes, safety, and product knowledge.
• Plan staffing and materials one week in advance to meet schedules and budgets.
• Ensure profitability by managing costs and adherence to project specifications.
