Job summary

Landscape Development Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of landscape construction projects in Corona, CA.

You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and contract requirements. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and construction software such as Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction experience.
• 1–3 years of construction or landscape construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, and schedules.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with multi-project focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day administration and coordination of landscape construction projects.
• Review plans, specs, contracts, scopes of work, and bid documents to identify requirements and issues.
• Coordinate and track material procurement, deliveries, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Prepare submittals, data, samples, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and cost tracking.
• Support project scheduling and progress monitoring against milestones.
