Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC in Columbus, OH, seeks a Project Engineer to support the project management team on large-scale commercial landscape construction projects. You will assist with planning, coordination, and oversight to ensure on-time delivery within scope.

Responsibilities include takeoffs using OST, pricing for estimates, document control, submittals, change orders, and coordinating among branch staff, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Landscape Architecture, civil engineering, or construction management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and project management software.
• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the project management team in planning, coordination, and oversight of large-scale landscape construction projects.
• Perform takeoffs using OST and gather pricing for estimates; review take-offs with estimating team.
• Manage document control, including submittals, change orders, field production tracking, purchasing documentation, and contract administration.
• Coordinate between branch administrative team, field employees, sales team, estimating team, and branch management.
• Prepare reports and information as requested.
• Work closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and employees to ensure exceptional customer service and quality.
• Learn company systems and tools; maintain timelines and manage multiple tasks.
