This role is part of Troon, a global leader in golf and community management. The position focuses on overseeing landscape production, managing crew, and ensuring high-quality maintenance for the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
• Operate mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
• Plant trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.
• Prune and trim trees and shrubs.
• Maintain a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
• Maintain landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Additional Responsibilities

• Communicate the company's goals to homeowners concerning landscape maintenance quality and processes.
• Maintain a high level of good housekeeping and care of company assets in the field, vehicles, landscape yard and homeowner work sites.
• Conduct training of field staff on all maintenance equipment and use techniques.
• Attend walkthroughs with homeowners, foremen and Manager as requested.
• Work with Manager scheduling labor, equipment and materials to accomplish production schedules.
• Maintain strict adherence to established schedules and budgets.
• Understand contract specifications and confirm they are met with complete satisfaction from homeowners by conducting daily quality checks.
• Respond to homeowner complaints in a manner to achieve excellent satisfaction.
• Report on all issues with personnel, equipment, and homeowners to Manager.
• Oversee the work of all subcontractors on landscape maintenance projects; review finished work to confirm standards and contract specifications.
• Maintain adequate supply levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Ensure all work is completed in adherence to safety policies and guidelines.
• Investigate all accidents or safety violations with Manager, prepare appropriate reports, take action to correct and prevent future occurrences.
• Perform seasonal irrigation controller programming if irrigator is unavailable; confirm with Manager.
• Evaluate and advise homeowners regarding recommended treatments for plant diseases, insects and soil‑borne problems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior landscaping experience.
• Ability to direct and participate in construction and maintenance of grounds; perform related tasks as required.
• Design landscape plans for facility grounds and be responsible for implementation and maintenance.

Other Qualifications

• Regular and reliable attendance.
