The Landscape Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising the daily activities of landscape crews and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to Terry’s Landscape quality standards. This position works closely with the Production Manager to coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and daily schedules.
Key responsibilities associated with this position include:
Supervise and support landscape crews in the daily execution of assigned work.
Ensure crews understand daily schedules, job expectations, and priorities.
Monitor job progress, productivity, and quality throughout the workday.
Ensure landscape maintenance, enhancements, irrigation, and other assigned services are completed according to company and client standards.
Assist with coordinating labor, equipment, tools, and materials needed to complete assigned work.
Conduct jobsite inspections and identify quality, safety, or productivity concerns.
Coach and train crew leaders and team members on proper work procedures, equipment use, quality standards, and safety practices.
Ensure team members follow company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Communicate staffing, equipment, scheduling, and jobsite concerns to the Production Manager.
Assist in resolving day-to-day field issues that could impact productivity or service quality.
Promote accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work environment among field team members.
Maintain clear communication with the Production Manager regarding daily production results and operational needs.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, coach, and motivate field team members.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple crews, priorities, and daily assignments.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance and/or landscape installation practices.
Ability to identify quality issues and ensure work meets company standards.
Understanding of workplace safety practices and the ability to enforce company safety requirements.
Ability to solve day-to-day field problems and communicate issues appropriately to management.
Ability to work outdoors and travel between jobsites as required.
Valid driver's license
Previous experience supervising landscape crews or field teams
Experience in commercial landscape maintenance, enhancements, irrigation, or landscape construction
