Job summary

VerdeGo in Florida seeks a Production Manager to lead field crews, supervise client jobs and ensure safe, profitable operations. You will manage labor costs, coordinate with account managers, and ensure material readiness for upcoming projects.

The role requires at least two years in commercial landscaping at foreman level or higher; a horticulture-related degree is preferred. Bilingual Spanish is a plus; a company vehicle and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial landscaping at crew foreman level or higher.
• Degree in horticulture, turf grass science, landscape technology or related field preferred but not required.
• Spanish speaking proficiency preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with safety best practices for crew, public and environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff and manage client jobs to ensure high quality work, meet client requirements and profitability.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain operations and safety standards.
• Apply landscape knowledge and equipment understanding to boost branch success.
• Supervise crew performance and control direct costs such as labor and materials.
• Monitor and maintain labor budgets and other direct/indirect costs to meet income targets.
• Work with Crew Leads and Account Managers to meet client expectations.
• Coordinate with Shop Manager and Account Manager to ensure equipment and materials readiness for jobs.
• Promote company culture and safety through role model behavior.

• Work closely with Crew Leads and Account Managers to ensure client expectations are met

• Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting company culture and safety
• Schedule new and existing work in Aspire to reflect the most efficient routing for each crew
• Review and approve daily crew time in Aspire
• Provide accurate and timely paperwork flow between field and office
