Job summary

VerdeGo is seeking a Production Manager in Daytona Beach, FL to lead field crews in delivering high quality landscaping projects. You will supervise crews, manage budgets, and coordinate with managers to meet client expectations while upholding safety and ethics. A horticulture-related degree is preferred and Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in commercial landscaping at crew foreman level or higher.
• Degree in horticulture, turf grass science, landscape technology or related field preferred but not required.
• Spanish speaking ability preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with safety best practices for crew, public and environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field staff and manage client jobs to ensure high quality work and profitability.
• Follow company policies to maintain operations and safety standards.
• Use landscape knowledge and labor/quality control to boost branch success.
• Supervise crew performance and manage direct costs such as labor and materials.
• Monitor labor budgets and other costs to meet Income from Operations targets.
• Coordinate with Account Managers to meet client expectations.
• Ensure equipment and materials are prepared for upcoming jobs.
• Model ethical behavior and promote company culture and safety.
• Schedule work in Aspire for efficient crew routing.
• Review daily crew time in Aspire and ensure timely paperwork flow.

• Supervise field staff and manage client jobs to ensure the crews consistently performs high quality work, meet client requirements and fulfill them in a profitable and efficient manner
• Follow company policies and procedures in order to maintain all operations and meet safety standards
• Use your knowledge of landscape maintenance, landscape equipment, and labor & quality control to boost the overall success of the branch
• Supervise crew performance and control direct costs such as labor and materials
• Monitor and maintain Labor Budgets along with other direct and indirect costs to ensure Income from Operations is met
• Work closely with Crew Leads and Account Managers to ensure client expectations are met
• Work with Shop Manager and Account Manager to assure proper equipment and material is ready for upcoming jobs
• Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting company culture and safety
• Schedule new and existing work in Aspire to reflect the most efficient routing for each crew
• Review and approve daily crew time in Aspire
• Provide accurate and timely paperwork flow between field and office
