Job summary

Ryan Lawn & Tree Inc in Oklahoma is seeking a landscape plant maintenance crew member. You will maintain landscapes on residential properties, assist with installation and tree work as needed, and work both independently and on a team.

Compensation: $43,000 - $50,000 depending on experience

What does a landscape plant maintenance crew member do?

• Maintain landscaped areas and plant material on residential properties. pruning, mulching, weeding, cutbacks, and cleanups on a regular schedule and as needed.
• Assist with landscape installation and tree work as needed/seasonally.
• Work well independently as well as on a team while caring for customer properties.
• Interact professionally with customers on a daily basis communicating the process and expectations of services.
• Possess a general knowledge of plant maintenance practices.
• Continue on the job training for all aspects of RYAN provided services along with recommendations for other RYAN services as needed on their property.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required (Horticulture degree preferred)
• 1 years’ experience in landscape plant maintenance or related field
• Working knowledge of plant identification, proper pruning and common issues by species
• Commercial applicator's license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to obtain DOT medical certification

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, and push/pull equipment for extended periods, including up to 3 miles per day in the field
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round
