Ryan Lawn & Tree, serving the Kansas City area, is hiring a Landscape Installer to transform outdoor spaces for residential clients. You’ll join a skilled crew, handling landscapes and hardscapes, with clear training and a path to grow within the company.

The role is full-time, outdoors, with emphasis on safety, quality, and customer experience. No prior experience required; training will be provided.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in landscaping or related field is a plus, but not required.
• Must be able to pass background checks and drug screens.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Safety-sensitive position requiring DOT physical where applicable.

What You’ll Do

• Install landscapes and hardscapes, including plantings, patios, walls, and other outdoor features, for residential clients
• Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard of quality

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, or a related field is a plus, but not required
• A willingness to learn and take pride in your work
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• A team-player mindset, strong work ethic, and positive attitude
• Basic customer service and communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical
• SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION: This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the operation of vehicles and equipment. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical (where applicable) before starting employment. Candidates must meet all screening requirements as a condition of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, stand, and push/pull equipment for extended periods, including up to 3 miles per day in the field
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round
