Job summary

Aspen Grove Landscape Group is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee all production on a portfolio of maintenance accounts, including labor, materials and equipment. This role manages a book of business at a minimum of $1 Million and reports to the Branch Manager.

You will collaborate with management to map seasonal work, coordinate schedules, and ensure safety, quality and profitability across crews while developing staff and controlling costs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree desirable.
• 2–4 years of experience as a supervisor/manager with proven ability to train, nurture and develop employees.
• General knowledge of irrigation systems.
• Pesticide Certification 3A & 3C or better.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to schedule multiple projects.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with accountability and responsibility.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Aspire a plus.
• Travel between client sites and other operational sites; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Support company vision, policies, safety/training programs and communicate to employees.
• Familiarize with each job’s specifications; ensure quality and efficiency standards.
• Map seasonal work schedules; coordinate manpower, equipment and materials.
• Inspect equipment and vehicles to ensure proper maintenance.
• Respond to client requests in a timely manner; resolve issues with Client Management team.
• Manage budget and monitor job cost reports; improve productivity and profitability.
• Lead a team; participate in hiring/promotion; develop staff; manage discipline as needed.
• Train employees on safety, quality and efficiency.
