Job summary

Ludwig Brothers, Inc. is seeking an experienced landscape designer to oversee small residential and commercial project designs.

The role requires a strong CAD background, plant and soil knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers both in person and over the phone. The ideal candidate will hold an associate's or bachelor’s degree in horticulture or an equivalent qualification and possess a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Strong site analysis, hardscape, plant and soil knowledge, and proficiency in industry design software.
• Effective communication with customers, both in person and on the phone, and follow-up on estimates.

Responsibilities

• EDUCATION
• ASSOCIATE’S/BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN Horticulture or Equivalent
• Computer-Aided Design (CAD) such as Dynascape, UVision, etc.
• QUALIFICATIONS
• VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE & RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION A MUST
• Essential technical skills for landscape design include site analysis, hardscape construction knowledge, plant and soil knowledge, proficiency in industry-standard design software, LIGHTING PLACEMENT
• CUSTOMER SERVICE – COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY WITH POTENTIAL & CURRENT CUSTOMERS IN PERSON AND ON THE PHONE, FOLLOW UP ON OPEN ESTIMATES
