Job summary

James River Grounds Management, LLC seeks a full-time Landscaper in Virginia Beach, VA. You will perform mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, and general grounds upkeep for commercial and residential properties, while assisting with installations and irrigation upkeep.

You will work as part of a crew, follow project plans and supervisor instructions, and interact professionally with clients and teammates to ensure high-quality service delivery, all while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform landscape maintenance tasks with safety and quality.
• Gardening skills: planting, pruning, and turf/shrub/flower care.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and reporting issues to supervisors.
• Interest in landscape design principles to support installation and enhancement projects.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability; follow instructions and complete tasks on schedule.
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols; prior experience with landscaping equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities
