Job summary

BrightView Landscapes Ltd. is looking for a Landscaper I to support landscape maintenance across commercial properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision and assist with equipment operation and plant maintenance.

Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning, bed planting, litter removal, and basic equipment upkeep. Candidates should be at least 18, physically able to lift, and comfortable working outdoors in varied weather with a valid driverlicense where required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Able to safely operate landscaping equipment.
• Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, stick edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
• Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf using power mowers, trim and edge with gas-powered tools.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or remove damage.
• Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves and debris onto turf before mowing.
• Mulch leaves and organic matter when mowing.
• Weed by hand or with a hoe.
• Perform basic, preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Remove trash, dead plants, and suckers from landscape.
