Job summary
BrightView Landscapes in Bartow, FL is seeking a Landscaper I to provide landscape maintenance across various properties. You will perform basic tasks under supervision, help operate commercial equipment safely, and assist with plant material care and landscape features.

Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old and dependable.
- Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
- Certified on level 1 equipment (backpack blower, edger, string trimmer, walk-behind mower).
- Familiar with basic horticultural maintenance operations/practices.
Responsibilities
- Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge with gas-powered tools.
- Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or growth habit.
- Plant and maintain flowerbeds.
- Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks and beds.
- Pick up trash and blow leaves onto turf before mowing.
- Mulch leaves and organic matter after mowing.
- Weed by hand or with garden hoe.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Remove trash, dead plants, and suckers from landscape.
- Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and customers.
- Report unsafe conditions to the Crew Leader.
